Kym Vercoe and Arky Michael: Writers
Kym Vercoe and Arky Michael won the Monte Miller Award for Best Unproduced Screenplay for their feature film, Mrs Burswood, which has since been optioned by Sense and Centsability. This screenwriting team has a string of successful individual credits, including Kym’s feature film, For Those Who can Tell No Tales (based on her award winning one woman play, seven kilometres northeast), which premiered at the Toronto Film Festival and Arky’s Tropfest winning short film, Australian Summer. As collaborators, Kym and Arky have worked together on theatre projects for Theatre Kantanka and version 1 and currently have a slate of projects in development.
