Evan Williams: Writer

Evan Williams is a comedy writer whose work has appeared in The New Yorker, McSweeney’s, The Sydney Morning Herald, The Monthly and on ABC’s 7.30, where Evan co-wrote the show’s satirical sketches with writer-performer Mark Humphries. The pair previously worked together on SBS Viceland’s The Feed, and have written and produced hundreds of sketches over the years. In 2019, together with Dan Ilic and Kacie Anning, they created the Audible audio-sitcom Riot Act, starring Liv Hewson (Netflix’s Let it Snow and Santa Clarita Diet), Tony Martin, Heather Mitchell, Jordan Raskopoulos and Marc Fennell. He wrote the romantic audio play, I Got You for ABC’s Radio National. Evan is currently developing a slate of projects for both stage and screen.
