Fiona McGee

Fiona McGee is one of Australia’s most successful commercial directors, lauded internationally for her comedic and visual style. Deep insights about people define her storytelling. She has been ranked as the #1 director in the world and has won awards at Cannes, D&AD, AWARD and LIA. She’s helmed big campaigns in every category from cars, to banks, to a Cannes Lion spot for Selleys. In an industry that churns directors and concepts, Fiona has clocked her 4th year directing ING’s brand ambassador parody starring Isla Fisher.

Before her career in advertising, Fiona studied fine arts at COFA and made documentaries and short films, which shaped her authentic and striking visual style. Fiona is currently developing a slate of long form projects, traversing comedy and drama, narrative and documentary.
